汪壽寧 WANG Shou-Ling（1934-2019）
汪壽寧長年以旅行作為創作養分，足跡遍及臺灣、日本與歐美各地，將風土民情觀察轉化為畫面語言。其創作題材多元，涵蓋風景、靜物與人物，尤以人物肖像見長。她善於捕捉人物氣質，透過背景經營與細膩描寫，在寫實之外更呈現內在神韻。
作品曾赴美展出並入選法國沙龍，亦積極投入畫會與藝術推廣活動。其創作兼具寫實基礎與感性表現，在臺灣當代女性藝術家中，具有代表性與重要地位。
WANG Shou-Ling drew inspiration from her travels across Taiwan, Japan, Europe, and the United States. Her work spans landscapes, still lifes, and figures, with a particular strength in portraiture, capturing both likeness and inner character.
Her works have been exhibited in the United States and selected for the Paris Salon. Combining a strong realist foundation with a sensitive approach, she holds an important place among contemporary Taiwanese women artists.

以真善之心創造的自然美境 Creating Natural Realms with a Heart of Truth and Goodness
汪壽寧1934年生於臺北，曾任職於紐約大都會博物館，是臺灣戰後第一代女畫家，也是臺北市西畫女畫家畫會的創始人之一，從事美術教育四十餘年。
自幼展現繪畫天分，就讀北一女時即立志從藝，考入國立臺灣師範大學，後經林玉山老師引介，師事張義雄，並於李石樵畫室學習，學生時期即於全省學生美展獲獎，奠定紮實基礎。
WANG Shou-Ling was born in 1934 in Taipei. She was a first-generation female painter in postwar Taiwan. She worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was a founding member of the Taipei Women’s Western Painting Association, dedicating over forty years to art education.
Showing artistic talent from a young age, she pursued art at National Taiwan Normal University. Introduced by LIN Yu-Shan, she studied under CHANG Yi-Hsiung and trained at LEE Shih-Chiao’s studio, where she built a strong foundation for her artistic career.

1934 生於臺北市。
1952 入張義雄畫室學素描，並於李石樵畫室習畫。
獲全省學生美展特選第三名，並入選臺灣省美展。
考入國立臺灣師範大學美術系，師事朱德群、廖繼春、馬白水、林玉山。
1956 畢業於國立臺灣師範大學美術系，任教基隆光隆商職。
1957 與藝術家江明德結婚。
1977 赴日本研習古典肖像畫法。
1978 赴美發展。
1984 赴紐約市立大學進修藝術史。
1988 任職於大都會藝術博物館資訊部。
1990 返臺定居。
1991-1993 作品入選法國巴黎秋季沙龍、獨立沙龍及春季沙龍。
2008 《如歌歲月-汪壽寧創作展》，國立歷史博物館，臺北，臺灣。
2010 《一花一世界聯展》，名山藝術臺北館，臺北，臺灣。
2015 《樸真年代：張萬傳、張祥銘、江明德、汪壽寧》經典聯展，名山藝術，新竹，臺灣。
2019 8月2日辭世，享壽85歲。
