鄭月妹 CHENG Yueh-Mei（1960-）
鄭月妹的水墨畫發展一直呈現多元樣貌，她的作品伴隨著她對於東西繪畫創作的豐富經驗，作品自然而然的形成了一種與眾不同的特殊樣貌。她的新水墨總是從個人對自然、生命、環境 、文化和跨文化的醒思出發，來開發想像的可能性並抒發她對自然的情感。
CHENG Yueh-Mei’s ink paintings have consistently exhibited a diverse range of styles. Enriched by her extensive experience in both Eastern and Western artistic practices, her works have naturally developed a distinctive and unique visual language. Her contemporary ink creations often begin with personal reflections on nature, life, the environment, culture, and cross-cultural encounters. From these reflections, she explores imaginative possibilities and expresses her emotional connection to the natural world.
Her landscapes, as well as depictions of flowers and birds—constructed through elements such as abstraction, contouring, and splashed ink—serve as metaphors for the cultural conflicts embedded in the process of human civilization.

融匯東西新水墨詩境 A poetic new ink realm blending East and West
鄭月妹，1984年畢業於文化大學美術系，現任逢甲大學建築專業學院特聘教授，曾任東海大學美術系客座教授、美國芬蘭大學國際藝術學院美術系專任教授和美國萊特建築藝術學院訪問學者。她為台中捷運設計之公共藝術「尚水」結合AR科技與水墨意境，在2024年獲得國際知名義大利A’Design銅牌獎。
CHENG Yueh-Mei graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Chinese Culture University in 1984. She is currently a Distinguished Professor at the College of Architecture of Feng Chia University. She has previously served as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Tunghai University, a full-time professor in the Department of Fine Arts at the International College of Art of Finlandia University, and a Visiting Scholar at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.
Her public artwork “Shang Shui,” created for the Taichung Metro, integrates augmented reality (AR) technology with the aesthetics of ink painting. In 2024, the work received the Bronze Award at the internationally renowned A' Design Award & Competition in Italy.
