李振明的水墨創作從土地環境關懷到在地人文的涉探，以當代文人的視野，藉藝術涵養表達對生長土地深切的憐憫與關懷。
大膽、實驗性的畫面的佈局，在傳統美學與當代視覺趣味間和諧共融。畫面常環繞著臺灣特有動、植物為主題，以「生態水墨」的理念建立李振明高辨識度的藝術風格。
LEE Cheng-Ming’s ink art moves from a concern for the land and environment to an exploration of local culture. With the perspective of a contemporary literati, he uses artistic cultivation to express a deep compassion and care for the place where he was raised.
His bold and experimental compositions achieve a harmony between traditional aesthetics and contemporary visual sensibilities. His works often center on Taiwan’s native flora and fauna, and through the concept of “ecological ink,” he has developed a highly recognizable artistic style.

李振明出生於嘉義，是臺灣水墨重要推手，深耕當代水墨創作三十餘年。畢業於臺灣師範大學美術研究所，2001年回到母校任教，歷任教授、系主任與院長，積極推動藝術教育與發展。卸任後赴韓國首爾東國大學擔任客座，推廣文人彩墨理念，並專注於創作。
早年獲雄獅美術新人獎首獎，並於臺北市立美術館與國立臺灣美術館舉辦個展。
LEE Cheng-Ming was born in Chiayi and is a key figure in Taiwanese ink art, with over three decades dedicated to contemporary ink practice. He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University and returned to teach in 2001, later serving as professor, department chair, and dean. After stepping down from administrative roles, he was a visiting scholar at Dongguk University in Seoul, where he promoted his concept of literati color ink and focused on his artistic practice.
LEE received the Grand Prize of the Lion Art Emerging Artist Award early in his career, and has held solo exhibitions at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
