歐立婷 OU Li-Ting (1986-)

　　歐立婷1986年生於台南，2016年畢業於國立台南藝術大學 應用藝術研究所 金工與首飾創作組 碩士。

　　歐立婷的創作靈感源於建築空間與結構。對於造形的想像來自生命經驗，各種空間形式的構築，皆是不同面向的自我投射與日常映影，這些幾何空間的再現與新創，都將成為心靈安居的處所。光影賦予作品新的輪廓，並擴展了對於空間的想像，使作品與建築空間產生連結。作品空間的流動性則讓觀者得以透過凝視和位移，去感受每個線條、切面在不同視角變換時所呈現的意象。
 
有別於一般對於鋼鐵雕塑的粗曠印象，歐立婷用金工的細膩手法完成作品，使鋼鐵呈現獨特的柔和樣貌。工藝美學是她創作的基礎，但也運用了工業技術來協助，藉由3D電腦繪圖與紙模的反覆試作，使理想中的空間造形具體實現，最後將金屬板材切割、彎折、成形、焊接以建構物件。
 
創作是一種自歐立婷構築的過程，透過反覆思考與身體勞動，形構作品的同時也更加理解自身。憑藉感性的思考與理性的工作方式，這些創作展現了歐立婷對於日常的感知以及身為藝術創作者的生活實踐。

The spaces and structures of architecture are the inspirations for creative works of Ou Li-Ting. The works are based on her life experience, every spatial forms becomes her inner projections and the reflections of her daily life. For Ou Li-Ting, simple geometric space always brings her spirit a sense of security. When the light goes into the objects , the shadow reconstructs the works in the dark and extends the imagination of space. Also, the works and the building linked together with light and shadow. The curves and planes are the guideline to help viewers perceive the imagery of works. Viewers can catch the various scenes while standing or walking by different distances and viewing angle.
 
People always think steel sculptures are rough because the objects remain the marks of cutting and welding.  On the contrary, Ou Li-Ting finished the works with delicate skills of fine metalsmith to transform the stereotype of steel sculptures. Craftsmanship is the principal of her creation, and Ou Li-Ting also utilize industrial technique to help her proceed the piece of art. CAD is a practical tool for her to represent abstract concepts and develop the geometric structures. Ou Li-Ting play around structures by making models with papers, and finalize the ideal forms through the process. All objects are completed by laser cutting, folding, forming and TIG welding of metals.
 
Creation is a process of self-construction, therefore, repeatedly creative thinking and hard-working enable Ou Li-Ting to know herself better. As an artist, Ou Li-Ting rely on intuitive feeling to think. At the same time, Ou Li-Ting would love to be a craftsman, using rational methods to understand material properties and applying them in the work of art. Everyday practices of Ou Li-Ting allow her to hold the value of arts and crafts, as well as her art objects represent my perception of life.
